EU allergen information for QR menus
For restaurants and cafés in the EU, our QR menu design can show allergens alongside each dish. We provide clearly labelled fields for all 14 EU-regulated allergen categories:

What restaurants must provide before we create their menu
If you order a digital QR menu for a restaurant, café or takeaway in the EU or another country with allergen-information requirements, you must provide a complete list of menu items, the ingredients for every food and drink (including sauces, toppings and garnishes), and any known allergens and cross-contact information. We use the information you supply to display item-specific allergen details. You must check and approve those details before publishing and tell us when ingredients or recipes change. We cannot safely guess allergens from dish names.
Only allergens relevant to a particular item should be identified as present. The restaurant must supply, confirm and keep accurate allergen information up to date, including recipe changes and cross-contact risk assessments. We do not automatically determine allergens from food names or guarantee legal compliance. The business must also follow any applicable national requirements for presenting this information.
